1940's Lab Ruby in 10k Ruffles

A big delicious c.1940's lab created ruby in a ruffly ribbon-like 10k gold setting.

SIZE / MEASUREMENTS:
The ring is size 9.25 and could be resized by a trusted jeweler
The stone is approx 10mm x 12mm
4.33 grams

CONDITION:
Good! It looks like it may have been resized at some point and the shank is not perfectly round.

MARKINGS:
Engraved "W to E" on the inside of the band. It looks like there may have been a date, but it is no longer legible.

Antique and vintage items are pre-worn and pre-loved, so some wear is to be expected.
