Vintage High School Award - Electrical Work - Sterling Silver - c. 1929

This is a super cool award that was given to Barney Bloom for Excellence in Electrical Work in 1929! I'm guessing S.P.H.S. is a high school, but am not certain. The hand engraving on the back is a work of art in itself. And I love the design on the front with the oil lamp on top of the books and the scroll overlapping with the leaves. It seems rich in symbolism. 

SIZE / MEASUREMENTS:
It measures approx in 1-5/16" diameter and almost 1-15/16" from the top of the jump ring to the bottom of the pendant
15.5 grams

CONDITION:
Good! There are some surface scratches, some minor dents in the back and wear commensurate with the age.

MARKINGS:
Stamped STERLING SILVER and LIEBER

Antique and vintage items are pre-worn and pre-loved, so some wear is to be expected.
